The development of each sector is directly related to international exhibitions that enable companies to exchange ideas, know-how, technological innovations and contacts. Well-recognized by the water sector, WATER SOFIA exhibition has registered a strong foreign interest in participation. The forum will be held for the 12th time, bringing together professionals from the sector from 27 to 29 March at Inter Expo Center – Sofia.
The exhibition brings together the entire sector of water infrastructure, water supply, distribution, industrial and domestic wastewater treatment, construction activities and more. There are over 30% of direct participants from abroad, comment the organizers. Among them there are companies from Germany, Austria, Italy, Turkey, Romania and Slovakia. Companies willing to join can apply until the end of February.
Over the years, the event has proved to be an established platform for meetings of Bulgarian and foreign specialists involved in major structural projects in the country. The 10th International Bulaqua Conference on "Investment Challenges for the Water Sector – Innovative Solutions and Financial Strategies", organized by the Bulgarian Water Association (BWA) will be held within this year’s edition. The days of the exhibition will bring together businesses and representatives of state, public and municipal institutions.
This is yet another year for the organizers of WATER SOFIA to pursue the objective of providing the best possible environment for optimal conditions for the development of the sector and the business. The international exhibition is held in parallel with MachTech & InnoTech Expo, the only specialized Bulgarian forum for machines and technologies in metalworking.
