More than 200 attendees are expected to follow the 50 + technical presentations and visit the exhibition of 30 companies showcasting their products and services.
The congress program covers the technical themes biological nutrient removal, nitrogen and phosphorus removal, emerging contaminants, process control and optimization, process modelling and design, and the challenges emerging from the current assessment management plan (period 7) in UK.
Furthermore a panel discussion on the responsibilities and challenges with respect to microplastics in waste water will be held.
The Newcastle university will host a Workshop named Frontiers in Engineering Biotechnology: New Paradigms for the Water Industry.
Constructed Wetlands Association Annual Conference
The 15th CWA annual conference will be part of the EWWM program. Starting with the keynote lecture given by Dr. Fabio Masi, Iridia, who gives an illustrated overview of the multiple benefits of constructed wetland projects around the world, including some historical perspectives, various examples of practical experiences with constructed wetlands will be presented. The CWA conference also includes site visits with a preliminary workshop.
