The Forum will be hosted by the Pomorskie Region, together with the Baltic Sea States Subregional Co-operation (BSSSC) under the Norwegian chairmanship, in close cooperation with the European Commission, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland and other partners.
In the framework of the event, BSR WATER platform organizes a parallel seminar "Safe nutrient recycling for cleaner Baltic Sea" (13 June 2019, 10:45–12:15). It will focus on the Regional Nutrient Recycling Strategy aiming to reduce eutrophication and nutrient inputs to the Baltic Sea. The seminar presents the status of the strategy and invites stakeholders to discuss the draft objectives, knowledge base and social and economic aspects for safe nutrient recycling in the region. The seminar will introduce current status and objectives of the Nutrient Recycling Strategy, as well as two platform contributing to its development: BSR WATER and SuMaNu.
