The sensor housing is made from tough PVC so that the JUMO digiLine O-DO S10 can be used in both fresh and salt water. Using the innovative, user-friendly connection concept from the JUMO digiLine bus system the device can be easily and quickly connected to the digiLine Master via Plug and Play. In addition, the system enables more efficient and faster cabling of plants in which several parameters need to be measured simultaneously at various locations.

Sensor management

The sensor also comes with an innovative, integrated, state-of-the-art sensor management system. This system acquires and logs relevant operating data over the sensor’s entire lifecycle to optimize processes and procedures. This includes the acquisition of operating hours as well as functions designed to enable predictive maintenance such as timely notifications when calibration work is required or a sensor cap needs to be replaced.

Integration

An RS485 Modbus RTU interface and an analog output (4 to 20 mA) enable easy integration into the system with field devices and process control systems. The sensor’s measuring range is 0 to 20 mg/l. It can be used in a temperature range between -5 and +50 °C.
