Romania also wants to satisfy the longing for face-to-face meetings and therefore postpones Trenchless Romania from June 16 & 17  to October 19 & 20, 2021, in the hope to be able to hold a hassle-free face-to-face event again. Trenchless Romania, with its conference and exhibition, is the main event focused on trenchless technologies in the region. The event will take place in Bukarest for the fifth time.

Despite the difficult circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, the construction sector in Romania was well on track and the demand for construction equipment is increasing. Wishing to provide a live encounter again and to act proactively, the organizer had no other choice but to move the date to the autumn. Here then there will be a great opportunity to present the advantages of No-Dig technologies with their latest developments. Trenchless Romania brings together manufacturers and suppliers of equipment and technologies for the No-Dig sector with construction companies, authorities, municipalities, engineering companies, etc.

Apply for the Trenchless Romania Award 2021

The event also hosts the Trenchless Romania AWARDS. The award is dedicated to projects applying trenchless technologies as well as to their professionals. Registration for the Trenchless Romania Awards 2021 is now open. All interested companies are invited to submit a 500-word abstract (in English) outlining the scope of their project and the main benefits for trenchless technology. Abstracts should be submitted to the GSTT office (beyer@gstt.de) or directly to Maria Nae (maria.nae@trenchlessromania.ro), the Trenchless Romania project manager, by September 1, 2021.

Abstracts must include the following information:

– Title of the project;

– Trenchless category (pipe rehabilitation and new construction).

– Author’s name;

– E-mail address;

– Brief description of the project, abstract in English of no more than 500 words with images and videos.

Entries accepted for presentation will be posted on the homepage of www.trenchlessromania.ro. The  organistors are looking forward to a large participation, both in Trenchless Romania and in the AWARD application.
