17th May 2023। Aquatech China takes place at the newly built National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from 5th to 7th June 2023. It is the only trade show in China focusing on water.
More than 1,750 exhibitors will present their water-related technologies and services and more than 65,000 visitors are expected to attend the trade show.
Water management is essential for economic growth
China’s economy is improving rapidly and could register impressive growth. Production facilities are running tight schedules to respond to the global demand of Chinese made products and parts. However, with very limited global freshwater resources, water management is essential in securing future economic growth. Stronger regulations drive Chinese utilities and industries to explore new technologies. Especially innovative solutions in wastewater treatment technologies, reuse technologies, sludge management, water efficiency, and sewage water treatment in rural areas.
Demand for strategies to mitigate climate change consequences
The consequences of climate change confront China with droughts and flooding in cities and rural areas. To protect vital water resources, there is a great need for water management solutions like resilient cities (rainproof design), circular economy (desalination, recovery and reuse), and water conservancy.
Industrial Water Leaders Forum
The Industrial Water Leaders Forum (IWLF) was successfully launched in 2018 as a high-level meeting point for water professionals working for end-users and providers of cutting edge technology. In order to facilitate the interchange of information, ideas, and opportunities some of the most important thought-leaders who are shaping the future of water in China will be brought together. These include policy makers, regulators, engineers, technologists, and most importantly the end users themselves.
