Only six weeks are left until IFAT Eurasia 2019 will open its doors in Turkey from March 28 to 30. Visitors can now register for the event to meet market leaders from the fields of waste management and recycling, water and wastewater treatment as well as municipal vehicles at Istanbul Expo Centre (IFM).

An extensive range of topics and environmental solutions will be showcased on around 17,000 square meters. Katharina Schlegel, Exhibition Direction IFAT Trade Fairs Abroad at Messe München, announced that they are almost completely booked for the water and wastewater sector.
Among the registered exhibitors are Turkish and international industry leaders such as Anadolu Flygt, Astim, Asos, Benli, Dikkaya, Disan, Eldan, Festo, Hach Lange, Hitachi Zosen Inova, Lanxess Deutschland, Lindner Recyclingtechnik, Mimsan, M-U-T., Netzsch, Standart Pompa, Tomra, Werner Doppstadt Umwelttechnik and Wilo. And Tanac will be the first Brazilian technology supplier in the three exhibition halls in Istanbul to present its solutions.
In addition to the individual company booths, the trade fair centre in Istanbul will again feature country pavilions of key manufacturing nations. This year, China, Germany, Austria and Switzerland will have joint pavilions that pool the innovative capacity and technical expertise of domestic companies. Germany will be even represented twice: in addition to the official German joint booth which is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the pavilion of German Water Partnership (GWP) will gather the German water technology providers in one booth.
From marine littering to current construction projects
The third edition of IFAT Eurasia will not only bring together supply and demand, but also be a platform that imparts cutting-edge knowledge on markets and technologies. For this—together with many partner associations—the organizers will offer an extensive presentation, workshop and round table program on all three days of the fair. First topics have been specified already, for example, current tenders, investment and building projects in the environmental sector, regional challenges in water and waste management, measures to reduce marine littering in tourist regions as well as the education and training of young talents and specialists. The program will not only focus on Turkey but will also embrace neighbouring countries, especially the MENA region.
