ACCADUEO 2018: focus on technological innovation

Kategorie:
Themen: |
Autor: Jonas Völker

Innovation, digitization, network maintenance and management, and the best practices of industry and utilities are the focus of the exhibition this year.

The exhibition will provide a forum for institutions, regulatory agencies, companies, and utilities to discuss system deficiencies, find the bases for developing new resources, and provide high-quality service. Above all, however, ACCADUEO is an opportunity to report the actions, strategies, and technologies used in the renewal of infrastructure, the development of water resources, and protection of the environment through the presentation of national and international cases and the illustration of the best technologies.
The keys to the information and training programs of ACCADUEO will be innovation, digitization, network maintenance and management, and the best practices of industry and utilities.
Innovation, the new feature this year, will draw attention to the new technologies, essential for developing water networks and the systems for managing industrial water and gas.
The special inclusion of initiatives and collaboration of ARERA and of WAREG (The Network of European Water Service Regulators) shows the strategic importance of these opportunities for discussing regulation, investments, and tariffs.

Seminars

Not-to-miss appointment: the "We Add Value to Water: Innovation in network maintenance and operation" will open the exhibition, with the main national and international institutions discussing the topic of innovation as an important element for improving operational quality and service.
In the afternoon, the seminar "We Add Value to Water: the market, innovations, and the scenarios for the future of water" will include a presentation of the first ACCADUEO-CRESME* Report on Innovation and Market, analyzing the entire water cycle (intake, distribution, sewerage, and treatment), the problems and potential of the sector and the quantitative and qualitative aspects. It provides a picture of the current situation and presents the best practices and technological innovations that will dominate the future of a sector of growing importance and social responsibility. Besides the presentation of the report, there will space for the virtuous cases presented in the report.
Further information about the event and the program can be found here.

*Cresme provides information and expertise in describing and forecasting economic trends and the construction market to the private sector and public institutions on a local, national and international level.
